Big Brand Beds are an online furniture shop, with an offline presence going under the name of Vokins @ Home, a long established, family run business in Sussex with a great reputation dating back to 1882.
Objective
With ever-increasing competition from furniture companies such as Land of Beds and DFS with a nationwide presence, as well as huge brands such as Tesco and Argos, it was vital to compete online and make themselves known to a wider audience throughout the UK.
The aim was therefore to not only increase organic traffic, but to also ensure every visit counted in order to maximise online sales.

Solution
We started off by carrying out a thorough strategic research phase to assess how people were searching for Big Brand Bed’s products, and then aligned this search behaviour to the site meta data and page copy. This was followed by a technical SEO audit to ensure the site adhered to best practice and was being correctly crawled and indexed.
This was supported by offsite content marketing which involved blogger outreach to relevant industry sites as well as infographic design and promotion which achieved coverage on Times Magazine and The Express.
We also performed conversion rate optimisation on the site, analysing their data to devise tests to improve traffic flow through to key pages of the site and minimise basket abandonment.
